Carlos Santana's early recordings included songs such as Oye Como Va and Para Los Rumberos composed by the great Tito Puente, already well known in the latin community. He has recorded the music of Miles Davis and John Coltrane, introducing these legendary artists to the rock community. His roots are also in the blues with extensive recordings with Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy. A recent album "Supernatural" continues to explore new avenues by collaborating with rapper Wyclef Jean, soul singers Lauryn Hill and Cee Lo, and rock artist Dave Mathews.
