Timothy Gay is a saxophonist and vocalist based in Reno, Nevada. Since moving to Reno in 2017 from his hometown of Detroit, Michigan, he has become a musical force in the Reno-Tahoe area performing with Truckee Meadows Community College Jazz Orchestra, Reno Syndicate Jazz Orchestra, his own jazz group Passing Thru, Full Blast, and The Exchange. As an accomplished composer, Timothy composes original music for his jazz group and recently composed a piece for reNEW Music Reno, which was performed by Reno Modern Brass.
