Ever since the hundreds of Christmas albums released when the LP era began in 1948, the music industry has embraced the holidays, and so have we! With our fan's never-ending request for the RJO to offer a holiday concert, we bring "A Very Soulful Christmas" to you this year.

Joining the 17-piece Orchestra is Tasche, a very talented and world-recognized R&B soul/Rock artist ready to energize the stage with an engaging and entertaining holiday concert.

From the most inventive yuletide grooves to straight-up soul and funk, Tasche will premiere an evening of big band music with a funky twist.

About Tasche:

TascheAn Oakland, California native, Tasche is a powerhouse vocalist and keyboardist who thrills audiences throughout the world with his original music and stunning covers. His career boasts performances across the globe, from Japan and France to Canada and Brazil. He's graced stages alongside renowned artists like CeeLo Green, Sheila E, and Tony! Toni! Toné!.
 
His own musical journey includes two acclaimed CDs, "A Love Worth Fighting For" and "From the Soul," showcasing his songwriting talent.
 Whether he is captivating audiences with his originals or dazzling them with covers, Tasche's artistry is undeniable.

Enjoy electrifying rhythms and soulful melodies featuring Venezuelan jazz! This extraordinary concert will present the fusion of traditional Venezuelan music and the improvisational spirit of big band jazz. From the vibrant sounds of the cuatro and maracas to the soulful melodies of the saxophone and piano, this performance promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music and culture with Aaron Serfaty and the Reno Jazz Orchestra.

About Aaron Serfaty:

Aaron SerfatyBorn in Caracas, Venezuela, Aaron Serfaty quickly became a virtuoso drummer and percussionist at a very early age. He has an accomplished career as a session and touring drummer with Venezuelan artists Franco De Vita, Soledad Bravo, Frank Quintero, Ilan Chester, Carlos Mata, and El Trabuco Venezolano. Serfaty has played, toured, and/or recorded with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra, Roberta Gambarini, Kristin Korb, Catina de Luna/Otmaro Ruiz's Lado B, Sergio Mendes, Dori Caymmi, Frank Gambale and Oscar Hernandez, among many others.

Bringing the timeless allure of Ol' Blue Eyes and the incomparable Sinatra sound, guest vocalist and songwriter Matt Mauer is set to deliver a classic big band performance infused with the best of Sinatra, Count Basie, Bruno Mars, Tom Jones, and other top-of-the-charts favorites. Teaming up with the illustrious Reno Jazz Orchestra, Mauer will treat the audience to a vibrant medley of Jazz, Traditional, Pop, Swing, R&B, and even Bolero, promising the sensational sounds of Swing!

About Matt Mauser:

Matt MauserMatt Mauser is a songwriter, solo artist, pop/rock bandleader, and Sinatra-style crooner, having spent over two decades onstage and in the writing room. He is the frontman of the Sinatra Orchestra in Los Angeles as well as the Tijuana Dogs, appeared on America's Got Talent, and is now signed by legendary producer David Foster. While he has a reputation for Sinatra-style phrasing, he's not imitating The Chairman of the Board in the big-band shows. Matt's just using his big, flexible voice to delight audiences worldwide.
